Nicola Pozzani
Award-winning Fragrance Creator & Educator
I was initiated to the Art of Perfumery by Grasse Master Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena at the Università dell’Immagine of Milan, a life-changing experience which inspired me to work globally for fragrance companies such as Symrise, LVMH Acqua di Parma, Le Labo…
I specialise in luxury perfumes and heritage brands. As Bespoke Perfumer for Floris London I got to create for Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and won a UK Fine Fragrance Award.
My fragrance journey took me places. In Harvey Nichols Riyadh Saudi Arabia I kick started L’Odore Haute Perfumery, in Berlin and NYC I developed scents with Perfumer Christophe Laudamiel. In Venice, Italy I created for The Merchant of Venice brand and Perfume Museum Palazzo Mocenigo.
Sharing my passion, I pioneered fragrance teaching in art/design at London College of Fashion UAL, Slade School of Fine Arts UCL and Bern University of the Arts, as featured in the book Designing With Smells. I guest lecture at ISIPCA-Universita’ di Padova and Politecnico di Milano.
My work is featured on press and social media globally as well as in international conferences and made me an Associate Member of the British Society of Perfumers and Fragrance Foundation UK. A life-long meditation and yoga practice informs my experience.
